Youth Media in the Classroom: Lessons from LA

Over the last year, YouthLearn Director Tony Streit has been advising arts education leadership at Los Angeles Unified School District in support of their efforts to better integrating media making into the classroom. The initiative involved intensive professional development and mentoring through a partnership with University of Southern California’s School of Cinema-Television and Institute for Multimedia Literacy.
